Super place for light fare and great coffee. Packed for brunch most times, there is a reasonm
Loved this place. Very open with contemporary decor, creative menu, good service, pleasant laid back atmosphere. GO!
Bright and lovely cafe in the heart of the Bershires. Cute young men serving good coffee and whole wheat pancakes with berry compote to die for. Kids love the over the top hot cocoa in Mason jars. Frothy cappuccino served the same way. Others enjoyed the yummy French toast, pumpkin spice yogurt parfait and chicken sausage. Make a special trip.
On my first visit there are some thumbs up and some things that would have resulted in a lower review but I did some research and that turned what would have been a 3 star review into a 4. First off... the building is beautiful... pine interior, clean lines, a fusion of cabin and city. The food is locally sourced farm to table and you can definitely taste the difference. Even the strawberries in November were amazing. The menu is quite small, 4 or 5 breakfast options and 4 or 5 sandwiches Our table ordered two western omelets and a healthy omelet. One person ordered the western without ham. Another person asked to upgrade to sweet potato fries. The omelets come with one slice of toast that is out of this world...get a side of it. The service was not that good. There were a lot of people working but things seemed slow and disconnected. One person took the order. The specialty coffee took a long time to arrive but the person in charge of making the coffee spent a long time talking to the many other staff members. It looked like there were at least 7 to 9 employees and it was not that busy. The person that brought our food did not know what it was when we asked a question. The service seemed so disconnected I had to do some research. On their website it did say they provide a safe space for those recovering to work. That totally changed my view. The menu has a note about their farm to table practices. I wish they would add a note about their community practices as well. That is something to be admired. I do feel they could benefit from having someone on hand to direct those working. It is very open concept so you can't help but notice what is going on around you. I will definitely return to try the chic pea burger.
Surprisingly upscale food. Good service.
