I recently got married in Lakeville, CT and my venue listed Blackberry River Baking Co as one of their recommended wedding cake vendors. I arranged to come to their adorable cafe for a cake testing and was impressed how all their ingredients were so fresh and tasted home made. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and very reasonably priced compared to other bakeries in the area. Our guests raved about it! Overall I was very happy that I went with Blackberry River for our cake. Hopefully I'll have a chance in the future to come back to their cafe and eat more of their delicious offerings!
So incredibly delicious. The middle eastern breakfast - curried chickpeas (sublime),stewed tomatoes, Swiss chard, perfect poached eggs and greens. Most likely the very best breakfast I’ve ever had.
Fresh everything- oj, great teas, and the muffins, breads and other baked goods are fabulous and homemade. The corned beef has was the real McCoy, chunks of corned beef, but I'm picky so carved off the fat . . . very friendly help.
Great place to have breakfast or lunch. Great menus. Great food and coffee. There pastries are out of this world. Fresh and homemade. Great scones not dry an crumbly. Apple strudel to die for not Apple sauce but Apple's. Love this place
I really enjoy having breakfast here. The food is fresh and is sourced from local farms. The smoked salmon bagel is my favorite. Wait times are a bit on the high side but it doesn't really affect my experience in a negative way. They have a ton of delicious pasteries too that you can pick up after eating or by making a quick stop.
